of Warcraft Engineering Guide, see page one here: WoW Engineering
Guide.
A Pledge of Secrecy will be
handed to Gnome and Goblin students. The player signs it,
returns it, and therefore pledges commitment to the discipline.
The trainers will then assign a task to gather and bring back
certain items.
For Gnomes, Overspark and
Obnoticus will require six Mithril tubes, two Advanced Target
Dummies, and one Accurate Scope. For Goblins, Sprocketspring
will ask for twenty Big Iron Bombs, twenty Solid Dynamites, and
five Explosive Sheeps. Once chosen, the player cannot switch to
the other.
Both specializations have unique
schematics. Both have advantages and disadvantages. It boils
down to individual preferences. After this, players will be
given their Gnome or Goblin Engineer Membership Cards. These
cards will serve as privileges to learn Gnome Engineer Only or
Goblin Engineer Only schematics.
The membership cards will only
last for fourteen playing days. After it expires, players will
no longer be able to learn the specialized schematics. It is
possible to renew them at the cost of two golds and there is a
huge benefit to this. After renewal, the respective trainers
sends a gift that ranges from schematics, to parts, to bombs,
some of which are only acquired this way, such as the Li’l
Smoky schematic for the Gnomes and the Pet Bombling schematic
for the Goblins.
The Artisan stage
The next level of WoW Engineering
proficiency is the Artisan stage. Level 35 is required for
Artisan and becomes possible for learning at the 200 skill
points mark. They can garner up to 300 skill points. At 275
points, Artisans can go for Master engineering training. Master
engineering needs level 50 engineers. Masters can earn as high
as 375 skill points.
Grand Master
Engineering
The highest and most exalted
engineering skill is the Grand Master Engineering. At 350
points, Masters can become Grand Masters. Level 65 is needed
for this proficiency. Masters are able to harvest a maximum of
450 skill points. Significant leveling up and augmentation in
skill points allows engineers to have access to newer, better,
and more powerful schematics. The necessary skill levels that
are indicated do not include special racial trait and bonus
skill points that may be
available.
